Before the final class of our yoga retreat at Villa Sumaya in Guatemala, we grabbed the studio key a few minutes early. Opening the sliding doors to our beautiful view of Lake Atitlan, one by one, we took our turns on the mat.
Though I ended up lowering the volume for this video, I wish I could should you the entire 20 minutes of tape in its raw form. With every kick into forearm stand or graceful lift into side crow, we erupted in genuine cheers and “woahhhs.”
There was so much support and recognition of the progress we made both on and off our mats during that special week in our little corner of Central America.
